IMPACT Wrestling to Air TNA Special On AXS TV On March 31st

News of cancellations/postponements of highly anticipated wrestling events have been all the talk the past two weeks, but today, IMPACT Wrestling revealed some good news. While their TNA: No Place Like Home show that was set for WrestleMania Week was cancelled due to the threat of the coronavirus, IMPACT was able to tape a different special at their most recent tapings in Atlanta, GA. So on March 31st at 10PM ET, IMPACT Wrestling will be presenting a one-night, one hour TNA special.

Set to feature old names (likely some of those who had already been scheduled to perform on the ‘Mania Week show) in new matches, the TNA special will also see the company return to old branding for one night. In a hype video released by IMPACT on Friday, the company promised a show no one would ever forget, one that would be talked about long after the final bell tolls.

Bringing back TNA for one night only is a great nostalgic move and the reaction to No Place Like Home proved that. Fans were thrilled to get a chance to see some of their old favorites such as Amazing Red, Chris Harris, Shark Boy, Ken Anderson, Chris Sabin and more. Not to mention, IMPACT was bringing back the King of the Mountain match and had plans to hold an Ultimate X match as well. There is no word on if either of those match types will be part of next week’s show, nor was there a specific update on the card or talents involved. While these may be revealed in the days to come, it is also possible IMPACT keeps the element of surprise here, something that would surely make the March 31st show even more special.
