Rumours have swirled ever since Stardom’s acquisition by Bushiroad, New Japan’s Parent Company, that we may see Stardom take part in NJPW shows to help raise the profile of the company.
We need not speculate any longer as we now know that Stardom will partake in NJPW’s biggest show of the year. It will be interesting to see what type of match Stardom puts on. It could be a multi-person faction battle similar to their match on Rossy Ogawa‘s lucha show earlier this year or they could burn off a big title match like Momo Watanabe vs Mayu Iwatani or Utami Hayashishita vs Arisa Hoshiki, both of which were set up at Year End Climax. Regardless, Wrestle Kingdom 14 will present the biggest opportunity for Stardom to grow and win new fans.
