At IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory on Sunday night, Ace Austin become the new X-Division Champion after he defeated Tessa Blanchard, Jake Christ, Daga, and Acey Romero. The match saw the use of weapons introduced to the match which resulted in absolute mayhem.

The closing of the match saw Tessa Blanchard and Jake Christ going back and forth at the top of the ladder, which led Tessa to knock Christ down through a table in the ring to finish him. With her fingers on the gold, out of nowhere, Ace Austin jumps to the top of the ladder and magically gets his magic cane out and blasts Tessa on the side of her head to knock her out cold and her falling from the top of the ladder to the mat.
Ace grabs the title to become the 90th X-Division titleholder in IMPACT Wrestling history. Austin is now a part of an elite class of titleholders such as “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, Low Ki, Brian Cage, Rich Swann, Lashley, Samoa Joe and more.
At only 22 years of age, Austin has quickly become a star in the industry. Wrestling with two major companies in Major League Wrestling (MLW) and IMPACT Wrestling and being on television on two different networks in BeIN and soon on AXS TV. Austin began his career back in 2015 and is a graduate of the CZW Dojo. Ace wrestled throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and quickly made his way through the ranks.
What’s next for Ace Austin though, now that he has the X-Division title? And what about his ongoing war with Eddie Edwards, now that Austin continues to get into the head of Alisha Edwards. Eddie Edwards won the “Call Your Shot” Gauntlet match earlier in the night and now has the option to challenge whichever champion he sees fit. Could retribution for Edwards be in store if he chooses to go up against Ace Austin for the X-Division title? We’ll find out soon enough.
