Supernova Returns: Noam Dar Set For ICW Fear & Loathing XII

Noam Dar

On Friday evening, Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) made the announcement that former two-time Zero-G Champion and current NXT UK and 205 Live superstar Noam Dar would be returning to the promotion for their Fear & Loathing XII weekender, which takes places on Saturday November 2nd and Sunday November 3rd at SWG3 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Scottish Supernova was a huge player during ICW’s rise to prominence, first appearing for the company in 2010. He would overcome Andy Wild, Falcon, and Rob Cage in an Elimination Match to be crowned the inaugural Zero-G Champion at the third Fear & Loathing that same year, a title he would hold for 266 days – the longest in the title’s history at the time of writing. When he wasn’t challenging for the Zero-G Championship, Noam was part of some huge matches, battling the likes of recently signed Ring of Honor (ROH) star Joe Hendry, former NXT Champion Drew Galloway (now Drew McIntyre), and Joe Coffey, who defeated him three wins to two as part of a best of five series throughout 2014.

Noam’s final match as a regular ICW roster member came in September 2016 as he was defeated by Andy Wild in a sensational contest. Following this though, he headed to WWE full-time following his performance in that year’s Cruiserweight Classic, where he made it to the quarterfinals after defeating Gurv Sihra (now Sunil Singh) and HoHo Lun before being ousted from the bracket at the hands of Zack Sabre Jr. He’s since primarily resided on the 205 Live and NXT UK brands, the latter of which saw him main event the second episode against then-WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne.

After going to WWE, Noam Dar has returned to ICW on two separate occasions – he teamed with Pinky Party pal Sha Samuels to defeat RUDO Sports and Entertainment Brand clients Bram and Joe Coffey at Shug’s Hoose Party 5 in 2017, and then returned a second time alongside Bad Company‘s BT Gunn and Wolfgang as they were victorious over British Strong Style (Pete Dunne and Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate)) at last year’s Fear & Loathing.

Who’ll step up to face Noam this time around?
