Preview: Beyond – Uncharted Territory Season One Finale

Uncharted Territory

After 18 weeks of some of the best weekly wrestling of the year, Beyond Wrestling’s Uncharted Territory has finally come to port. Beyond is coming off one of the best independent shows of the year in Americanrana ‘19, where they announced plans for Season 2 starting October 3rd, and are looking to end out Season 1 with a bang. They have a show that has some of the stars that were made on Uncharted Territory, some debuts and a rematch of one of the best matches from the season.

NDK vs Bear Country

Both these teams picked up huge wins at Americanrana ‘19. Bear Country was pinned the Beyond’s tag team aces LAX and LAX declared that Bear Country were the new tag team aces. While Nerder Death Kill comprised of Nick Gage and Thomas Santell picked up a win over Tom Lawlor and Brian Alveraz. These two teams will look to end Uncharted Territory with a big win over the other. NDK remains undefeated and Bear Country has only lost one match to David Starr and Eddie Kingston. These two teams meeting should be a hard-hitting spectacle to end Season 1 on.

Wheeler YUTA vs Chuck O’Neil – No Disqualification Match

These two wrestlers simply hate each other. Since Wheeler YUTA has come back from wXw, Chuck O’Neil has targeted him with attacks. These two finally met at Americanrana ‘19 and the match ended fairly quickly with YUTA taking a hard punch to the head and the ref calling a technical knockout. Wheeler will be looking for revenge and he will have it in this no disqualifications match between these two rivals.

Club Cam vs Anthony Greene and the Platinum Hunnies

Cam Zagami went from being a backstage correspondent to leading a team of super villains over the course of Uncharted Territory. Club Cam consists of former Spirit Squad member and raging lunatic Kenn Doane and Christian Casanova. They will take on another trio that had quite a run through Uncharted Territory, Anthony Greene and the Platinum Hunnies, made up of Angel Sinclair and Ava Everett. They have faced off with some of the best wrestlers to come during season 1 and been kicked really hard in the face by Josh Briggs. Club Cam caused a lot of havoc during the Feast Championship Ladder match at Americanrana ‘19 and were met by the Platinum Hunnies who also caused quite a bit of mischief these two trios will face off this week to prove who is the best team.

Solo Darling vs Alex Reynolds with Mark Sterling

Both these two had huge wins at Americanrana ‘19. Solo Darling won the Feast Championship (which looks like a hamburger) in a multi-person ladder match. Alex Reynolds was able to beat his former tag team partner John Silver with the help of Mark Sterling and a roll of quarters. Mark Sterling now seems like he will be managing Alex Reynold and if Americanrana ‘19 is any indicator the two of them will be a lot to handle. While Officer Magnum is a very good boy he will have his paws full trying to deal with Mark Sterling during the match.

The Butcher and The Blade vs Milk Chocolate

The Butcher and The Blade came up short against Rock N Roll Express but those guys have been wrestling for 38 years so they are a tough team to beat. Milk Chocolate despite more than a few appearances on Uncharted Territory over the course of the season one have yet to pick up a win. With the season coming to an end they will take on the Butcher and the Blade who have a pretty good win-loss record from this season. Will Milk Chocolate be able to end out season one with a huge win or will they have to wait for season two for that win?

Jay Freddie vs Brandon Thurston

Uncharted Territory has had a lot of great matches and almost no bad matches. Check out Orange Cassidy vs Kylie Rae, or Joey Janela vs Kris Statlander or any of the Chris Dickinson matches. The match that really set the pace about how great Uncharted Territory was going to be was Jay Freddie vs Brandon Thurston. These two kicked off episode 4 with a twenty-minute all-out banger. These two will have a chance to steal the show again and expect both of them to.

Top Dogs & Sierra vs Leyla Hirsch and The Sea Stars

The Top Dogs, made up of Skylar and Davienne, will team with Sierra, and have certainly made a name for themselves since the start of Uncharted Territory. The faction has been causing trouble with almost every other women on Uncharted Territory. They interrupted Kris Statlander while she was calling out Kimber Lee which leads to a match with Leyla Hirsch and Stralander beating the Top Dogs with Leyla flipping off Kris’ shoulders. The Sea Stars of Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo will be making their Uncharted Territory debut on the very last episode.

Discovery Gauntlet: Daniel Garcia vs Bullet Joe

The Discovery Gauntlet will be getting it’s very own show debuting on Tuesday, October 1st when Beyond launches its own live venue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Over the course of the season, the Discovery Gauntlet has been a place to showcase new talent in Beyond. Thomas Santell went on a winning streak and made a big career resurgence, Mick Moretti was the first winner and the Australian star used it to get his name out there and Christian Casanova had a good run. The Gauntlet has also made some stars even when they weren’t winning Leyla Hirsch debuted in the Discovery Gauntlet as well as Brad Bacon, Travis Huckabee and former CHIKARA Grand Champion Juan Francisco De Coronado. Out of all of those names, Daniel Garcia has looked the most impressive in the Discovery Gauntlet. Garcia took on all of Club Cam with ease to beat Christian Casanova his first week and his second week he faced off against his friend and fellow Buffalo native Kevin Blackwood in a great match. This week he will look to end out the season as the final Discovery Gauntlet against Bullet Joe.
