ROH International Cup To Be Televised on FITE App

Yesterday, Ring of Honor announced that the upcoming ROH International Cup tournament during their UK tour, Honor Re-United, will be televised in full for three days, live on PPV on the FITE App. The tournament runs for the first two nights, with the winner getting an ROH World Championship title shot on the third night. It will mark the second ROH UK-branded co-production this year with fellow IWGP Conception member Revolution Pro UK (RevPro), following on May 26, 2018’s Honor United event, but first on the FITE App (Honor United aired on Honor Club, ROH’s streaming network, exclusively). ROH has seen great success with their co-branded NJPW shows, War of the Worlds and Global Wars, and it looks like ROH could be looking to add RevPro co-brands on the docket going forward as well, should this event prove to be successful. NJPW has been doing co-productions with RevPro since last year, with War of the Worlds UK, as well as working alongside RevPro for this year’s recent Strong Style Evolved UK event. With World of Sport taking to mainstream television last weekend and WWE launching NXT UK shortly after this past weekend’s first tapings, the UK market has become a battleground. But thankfully, ROH has been in these waters for a while now.
