3. Younghoe Koo
If this list focused solely on the kicks themselves and completely ignored the circumstances of the kick, Younghoe Koo’s miss would be at the top of this list. If you’ve ever gone golfing, you know how embarrassing it can be to whiff on your ball and hit nothing but a patch of grass. Now imagine doing that in front of a national audience.
Younghoe Koo’s kick was terrible, and people will laugh at it for a few weeks. However, in the grand scheme of things, it didn’t change the league in any way, shape, or form. The Patriots would have still won this game if Koo had put it through the uprights, and the Giants would still be 2-11. Given the low-stakes nature of the miss, you can’t put Koo any higher than third on this list.
