Team Canada has named their final 25-man roster for the 2021 World Junior Hockey Championship. The tournament begins on December 25th inside the bubble in Edmonton, Alberta. Canada opens the tournament on December 26th when they take on Germany. The defending gold medalists will be coached by André Tourigny.

2021 Team Canada World Junior Championship Roster
The forward group is expected to be led by Chicago Blackhawks prospect Kirby Dach along with Buffalo Sabres prospect Dylan Cozens, Winnipeg Jets prospect Cole Perfetti, and Los Angeles Kings prospect and 2nd overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, Quinton Byfield.
The defence is led by Colorado Avalanche prospect Bowen Byram and Anaheim Ducks prospect Jamie Drysdale.
The goaltending battle rages on, with Florida Panthers prospect Devon Levi and New York Rangers prospect Dylan Garand fighting for the number one spot.
Other notable players to make the team are New Jersey Devils prospect Dawson Mercer, Colorado Avalanche prospect Alex Newhook, along with Dallas Stars prospect Thomas Harley.
Notable final cuts included Seth Jarvis, Mavrik Bourque, Samuel Poulin, Jamieson Rees, and Ryan O’Rourke.
