Ahead of Chelsea vs Manchester United, Liam Rosenior spoke to the media to provide some updates on the injury status of his squad. Notes were given on a number of defensive options, including Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah, and fellow Englishman and Cobham graduate Levi Colwill. The most interesting of those is about the 22-year-old who has missed the entire season to date with an ACL tear he suffered during pre-season.

The U21 side recently finished top of the PL2 table and is set to compete in the play-off round with them taking on the 16th seed on April 24, the match featuring Colwill is likely to be an unannounced friendly. Either way, it is nice to see the Englishman make any sort of return to the field after missing the entire campaign to date.

A return to action could be spurred on by his desire to try and get a spot in the 2026 World Cup squad, something that could benefit the Blues greatly.

For now, it is just good to see a young talent make his return from such a horrendous injury.
