Oxford United could welcome three players back from injury for this Saturday lunchtime game against current relegation rivals, Derby.
There is, however, one U’s player still sidelined ahead of the game at Grenoble Road, but the visitors also have a few players missing with injury.

Oxford United Injury and Team News
Matt Phillips – Thigh Injury
The winger has been sidelined since picking up a thigh injury during Oxford’s draw at home against Leicester last month.
Oxford’s Returning Players
Ole Romeny – While a position in the starting lineup may be up for debate, Ole Romeny played his first minutes since pre-season as Indonesia were knocked out of the World Cup qualifiers. He’s been back training with the U’s and will be hoping to focus his attention back on the club.
Filip Krastev – Another to make a return while away on international duty was Filip Krastev. The Bulgarian picked up a knock at QPR but has played in the recent defeats against Turkey and Spain, respectively.
Ciaron Brown – There is an eagerly anticipated return for the club’s player of the season, Ciaron Brown. The Northern Ireland international hasn’t played since April but was called up to his country last week, to the surprise of many U’s fans. However, he didn’t make the squad but was involved in training so he’ll be back on the pitch any time soon.
Derby County Injury News
Owen Beck – Match Fitness
The Liverpool loanee is yet to feature for the Rams since his move in the summer. The left-back has a calf problem but manager John Eustace expects the 23-year-old to be back after the recent international break.
Corey Blackett-Taylor – Hamstring Injury
The 28-year-old hasn’t featured since picking up a hamstring injury on the opening day of the campaign and remains sidelined.
Curtis Nelson – Knee injury
Former Oxford defender Curtis Nelson has been struggling with injury since the back of last season, so much so that Eustace opted against naming him in his 25-man squad.
Liam Thompson – Knee Injury
Close to a return but still in the treatment room is Liam Thompson. The 23-year-old appeared in three of the Rams’ opening Championship matches this season but picked up a knee injury in training back in September.
