Gyokeres has scored goals, but it feels there’s more to come from the Swedish striker, and he will get plenty of chances in this team. Eze will be pleased with his smart goal against Port Vale and will be eager to kick on and become a permanent fixture for Arteta. The 1-1 draw with City was the least the Gunners deserved, and they will be eager to stay in touch with Liverpool and not let them build an early lead. Injuries and Absentees to Consider
In the pre-match press conference, Arteta discussed the availability of Martin Odegaard: “Martin will be training with us the next two days so hopefully he’ll be available for the game.”
Speaking on Saka’s fitness, he said: “Yeah, nothing to report there. I think he’s played the games that we anticipated, he did well, he feels good and he will be training the next few days.”
Clarifying the Noni Madueke injury and if there was any news regarding a scan, Arteta said: “No, not yet.”
