This is an Inter Miami predicted lineup for their second group stage outing in the Club World Cup. The MLS side got their campaign off to a 0-0 start against Al-Ahly. How Inter Miami Have Lined Up Recently

In their tournament opener Oscar Ustari started in goal and put in a man of the match performance to keep a clean sheet. Tomas Aviles, Ian Fray, Noah Allen, and Maximilano Falcon started as the back four. Sergio Busquets partnered with Federico Redondo in the middle of the park as a CM pairing.

Telasco Segovia played out wide with Tadeo Allende on the other wing. The starting eleven rounded out with a front two of Suarez and Messi up top. Fellow Barcelona alumni Jordi Alba was brought to the tournament but didn’t feature on the bench or in the starters against Al-Ahly.

Inter Miami Recent Form & Tactics

Manager Javier Mascherano (another former Barca man) sets his side up in a 4-4-2. It’s an old school system that protects and enhances the ageing legs of the star men like Busquets. It also allows the front duo to switch roles and use their skill and IQ to break down opposition defences.

The club currently sits sixth in the Eastern Conference of the MLS having won just twice in their last seven outing. Scoring is usually no issue as they smashed five past Columbus and four past Montreal. The problem is their own defensive weakness as they rarely keep clean sheets and have let in more than three goals more often than not in their most recent run.

Inter Miami Injuries to Consider

Per Transfermarkt, there are five different absentees. Alba, Gonzalo Lujan, Yannick Bright, Drake Callender, and David Ruiz are all sidelined.
