PSG confirmed lineup - image of squad celebrating UCL win

PSG Confirmed Lineup vs Atletico Madrid for June 15

This is the PSG confirmed lineup for their Club World Cup opener. The UEFA Champions League winners have one of the more interesting ties of the group phase. Paris Saint-Germain will face fellow European heavyweight Atlético Madrid in an interesting stylistic clash of ideologies. With just a 24-man squad taken to the tournament, Luis Enrique has fewer options on hand than most, but he likely prefers it that way.

Paris Saint-Germain Team News

Gianluigi Donnarumma starts in goal with a back line of Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and Pacho. Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, and Joao Neves start in midfield with a front three of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Goncalo Ramos, and Desire Doue.

Notable Changes

This is essentially the strongest setup for Luis Enrique, keeping his usual 4-3-3 with his preferred back line and midfield trio. The only real difference is Ramos coming in to play as the striker instead of Ousmane Dembele getting the nod as the final man of the front three. Dembele is notably out of the squad entirely as is other usual started Bradley Barcola.
