Coming off a long season and a recent international break, it’s been reported that Vincent Kompany a nd co. will be easing their stars into this tournament and could play a largely second-string team here.

Manuel Neuer starts with Jonathan Tah, Joshua Kimmich, Harry Kane, Kinsley Coman, Michael Olise, Raphael Guerreiro, Sacha Boey, Thomas Muller, Josip Stanisic. and Aleksander Pavlovic. There’s a host of youth players on the bench with the rest of the squad utilised.

Notable Changes

It is a far stronger starting eleven than had initially been expected from the Bavarians. There’s a debut for Tah in the heart of defense alongside Stanisic but for the most part this is the usual strongest setup for Kompany. Muller is expected to play in behind kane with Olise and Coman on the wings. Pavlocic and Kimmich are the preumed pivot.
