The Dutch midfielder scored 15 goals across all competitions in the 2024/25 season for AC Milan, being their second-highest goalscorer despite playing as a midfielder. He even scored in Milan’s 3-1 win over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the UEFA Champions League group phase. Reijnders also bagged five assists in 37 Serie A games last season and was hailed as being “excellent at creating dangerous chances for his teammates” by Dutch legend Frank Rijkaard. The 26-year-old can play anywhere in the midfield, but excels as an attacking no.8 or as a no.10, which should allow him to bring more creativity and goal threat to Manchester City.
