Aston Villa Confirmed Lineup vs Fulham for May 3

This is the Aston Villa confirmed lineup for their Premier League clash with Fulham as the early Saturday kick-off. With European spots still up for grabs this could be a very important match as just six points separate these two teams with the Villans in seventh and their opponents just one spot behind. With them now out of the Champions League and the FA Cup, this is the last thing for Unai Emery’s side to focus on which could help them get over the line and even sneak back into the top five.

Aston Villa Team News

Emi Martinez starts in goal behind a defence of Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres, and Ian Maatsen. Boubaca Kamara and Youri Tielemans are the defensive midfielders, with Marco Asensio, John McGinn, and Morgan Rogers out wide and in attacking midfield. Ollie Watkins starts up front as the striker.

Notable Changes

This is almost the exact same lineup that last 3-0 to Crystal Palace, the only change being Digne out for the more attacking and versatile Maatsen. Other than that, it’s the same 4-2-3-1 setup with Asesnsio likely playing off the striker
