Chelsea Confirmed Lineup vs Legia for Conference League Second Leg

Chelsea Team News

Filip Jorgensen starts in goal with a backline of Marc Cucurella, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, and Josh Acheampong. Reece James starts in midfield along with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Cole Palmer, Christopher Nkunku, and Jadon Sancho support the striker Nicolas Jackson.

Notable Changes

It’s certainly an interesting setup from Enzo Maresca. There’s a few expected changes like Tosin and Badiashile as the pairing at the back with Acheampong starting on the right again after impressing last week. James partners Dewsbury-Hall in midfield to rest Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

There’s some eyebrows raised at Palmer and Jackson being risked with such a big lead from the first leg while Nkunku being picked over Tyrique George is abysmal based on form unless the team is in a 4-3-3 shape with the French international as a box crasher. There is a lot of youth on the bench that could come in if needed and names like Mathis Amougou and Sam Rak-Sayki may get in to keep James fresh.
