He adds a “verbal agreement” is in place for the youngster’s signing and that all relevant documents will be checked between the clubs in the next 24 hours.
The journalist has revealed that the Premier League giants have agreed to pay an initial £25.1 million fee with £4.1 million in potential performance-related add-ons. Romano also reveals that Manchester United have agreed on a long-term contract with the Danish defender. This comes after the Red Devils reportedly had their first bid for him rejected but have seemingly swayed Lecce to part with the talented player.

The 20-year-old will provide a dynamic edge to the Red Devils. He’s naturally a left wingback who has also played as a right winger for the Serie A club this season. The 20-year-old has scored three goals and provided an assist in 21 league games for the Italian side this season, also helping them keep four clean sheets in that period.
Dorgu has been hailed as an “incredible” player and has made four appearances for the Denmark national team, scoring one goal. He will be a key addition to the squad, providing more balance to the team.
