10. 2003/04 Home
There is nothing special about this iteration of the famous royal blue. Puma kept it simple. The previous version, featuring a Kaijin sponsorship, opted for a white trim across all panels that did not quite feel right. But the second time around, it was a hit. The simplicity of it made it that much better. The kit may not be too fond with Toffee fans as it signalled the club dropping ten places in the league from the 2002/03 season.
9. 2005/06 Home
The second year of the Umbro and Chang produced a lovely home kit. This kit was the last one worn by cult hero Duncan Ferguson, meaning it may be ranked higher due to sentimental value. This is sure to not be the only Chang kit on the list.

8. 2019-20 Alternate
The only alternate kit to make this list. But with good reason. This blacked-out shirt with blue accents is by far the best the club has worn as its third option. It only featured in two premier league games. If it was worn more frequently it may have ranked higher.
7. 1998/99 Home
It’s an Umbro classic. While each element of the shirt itself may not be the best choice, it all ties together perfectly. From the collar and sleeves matching to incorporating it all with the sponsorship colours. It is an all-around well-designed kit that went away from just the traditional royal blue.
6. 2018/19 Home
This kit was simple and held true to many of the Everton home kits of the past. There are no crazy trims or additional colours, just royal blue with white. It hit its mark and was a fan favourite at the time. It was meant to be the start of a new era for the Toffees. The likes of Richarlison, Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne all arriving at the club meant this shirt also came with a lot of expectations.
5. 2010/11 Away
This kit is divisive among the fan base, to say the least. You either love it or hate it. But this bright pink kit is hard to miss on the pitch. Fond memories of Leighton Baines bombing down the left wing may cloud our judgement – but this kit will be long remembered.
4. 2021/22 Away
This kit was part of Hummel’s first season as the Everton kit manufacturer, and they started with a bang. Black with a burnt orange sash, this kit pays homage to the 1881/82 kit worn by the club. To stay in tradition the manufacturer went as far as to make their logo blend in with the kit. A simple but effective move that made this rendition of ‘The Black Watch’ that much better.

3. 2016/17 Home
Umbro’s best Everton home kit produced in the Premier League era. It helps that this kit coincided with The Toffee’s best season in recent memory. The club finished 7th with 61 points, their most in the Premier League. Romelu Lukaku made this shirt his own on his way to 25 league goals.
2. 1995/96 Away
Some may view it as the worst kit the club has worn. But as the years go by, this kit only gets better with age. Unnecessary patterns, non-symmetrical and as little blue as possible, this kit has it all. But somehow it works and is the best away kit that the club has worn.

Le Coq Sportif couldn’t have made a better home shirt for the famous royal blue. The simplicity of it with the slight yellow accent on the collar and the fan favourite Chang sponsorship are all perfect. Wouldn’t change anything.
