Jurgen Klopp will take charge of his final match for Liverpool on May 19. The crowd will sing You’ll Never Walk Alone to one of the city’s greatest-ever managers for the final time, and it will surely be an emotional affair despite there being very little on the line. Here is our Liverpool predicted lineup.

How Liverpool Have Lined-up Recently
Alisson Becker starts in goal with Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back. Joe Gomez started at left-back last match with Andy Robertson missing out, though the Scotsman trained the following day; we expect the “influential force” to return. Jarell Quansah started alongside Virgil van Dijk for the third game in a row.
Wataru Endo and Alexis Mac Allister have been vital in the midfield all season, bar injuries. Harvey Elliott has been a breath of fresh air alongside the duo for the past two matches.

Mohamed Salah returned to the right-wing against Aston Villa whilst Cody Gakpo remained the centre-forward. Luis Diaz is the left-winger.
Liverpool’s Recent Form and Tactics
Liverpool drew 3-3 in a thriller against Unai Emery’s side. This match made it nine goals conceded and just one win in their last four matches.
It was out of character for the Reds to concede in the 85th and 88th minute to overturn their two-goal lead: it’s usually them making late comebacks. However, Aston Villa accumulated an expected goals (XG) of 2.79 between their initial 12th-minute equaliser and their second goal. The comeback was not against the run of play.

Liverpool were not a huge threat on the attack either, with their first coming from a freak Emiliano Martinez mistake. Aside from their goals they only racked up an XG of 0.68. Credit where credit is due they did take their chances, unlike other matches this season.
Liverpool Injuries to Consider Ahead of Wolves Clash
As mentioned, Andy Robertson missed the last match with a “minor niggle” but is expected to be fit for the Wolves match.
Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara, and Joel Matip will miss the final match of the 2023/24 season with longer-term injuries.
With Matip’s contract out this summer, we will likely never see the cult hero in a Liverpool shirt again. The same goes for Thiago.
