‘In Talks’: Burnley Eyeing Possible ‘Talent Share’ Relationship With Scottish Club

Burnley, Turf Moor, General View

Burnley have not had the best start in the Premier League this season. They are 18th in the table, with four points – making changes a necessity to ensure they avoid relegation. The Turf Moor club are looking at a long-term strategy to help secure their future. According to Sami Mokbel of The Daily Mail, owners ALK Capitals are “in talks” to make Dundee of Scotland a feeder team for the Clarets.

Young English attacker Marcel Lewis is already spending 2023/24 on loan to Dundee. Burnley have been attempting to find a feeder club and could have finally found a suitable match in Scotland. Burnley Eye Multi-Club Strategy

The Clarets are seemingly keen on the “multi-club” approach preferred by many elite clubs looking to get their youngsters match experience. Arsenal and Manchester United are two other English teams that have agreements with Scottish League teams, as Inverness Caledonian Thistle are working to develop the Gunners youngsters and Livingston with United.
