Release Clause in Lorran’s Contract With Flamengo Could Make Things Interesting

Romano reported through his social media platform that the latest “Brazilian sensation” is on the radar of the Red Devils with the Blues also monitoring the player. According to reports, both clubs sent their scouts to Brazil to better understand the player’s profile and potential. The teenager recently signed up for talent management agency, Roc Nation Sports Brazil, the agency owned by famous rapper JayZ. The likes of Vinicius Jr, Lucas Paquetá, Gabriel Martinelli and Endrick are also managed by the same agency.

The 17-year-old has a release clause in his contract with Flamengo which could potentially tempt United and Chelsea to make a move for him early on before other top European clubs join the race for the player. According to the Italian journalist, there is a release clause in the region of £43 million in his current contract. One of the Premier League duo could potentially trigger the clause in order to land the player before a bidding war ensues.
