The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath has confirmed that the Saudi club are now preparing to make a gigantic, record-setting £200 million offer to get the Reds to sell their star winger before the summer window closes.

The journalist claims they had a £150 million bid to sign the Egyptian star knocked back by the Premier League giants but don’t seem ready to take no for an answer. He states that Al Ittihad are planning to come back with the £200 million offer as their transfer window shuts later in September and not on Friday (September 1) as it does in England.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth has confirmed this impending offer and claims that there is a feeling that the Saudi club are “still getting encouragement” from certain quarters that a deal is still there on the table to sign Salah, despite the summer window in Europe coming to an end.

Are Liverpool Actually Ready to Sell Salah?
Despite all the speculation around his future and reports of the new incoming bid, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp continues to deny the possibility of the 31-year-old winger’s departure and stated in a recent press conference: “The position remains the same (not to sell). Absolutely no doubt about that. Nothing else to say.”

It appears Klopp has no plans to lose his star forward so late into the window, which would probably leave him without a replacement and short of numbers in the attacking front. Salah is reported to have received an offer from the Saudi side of a £65 million yearly salary, making him one of the highest-paid players in the world. The winger has not made a public comment on his future – allowing speculation on his future to continue.
