Interest
A new goalkeeper is one of the signings on the minds of the FA Cup finalists to improve their squad. Onana has proven himself a top performer at Inter and would strengthen any club in that department. Long-serving United shot-stopper, David de Gea has been the number one option for the team since joining. Despite that, he could be on the verge of an exit as his contract is set to expire.

Inter have shelved negotiations with a potential replacement for their keeper according to DiMarzio. Talks with Empoli’s 26-year-old shot-stopper Guglielmo Vicario have cooled at the moment. He is the Nerrazzuri ‘s first choice to replace Onana if he leaves.
Negotiating Power
The 27-year-old former Ajax man reportedly earns £67,000 per week in Italy, a figure most elite clubs can improve upon. The Cameroon international still has 4 years left on his deal with the Serie A giants. This means a substantial fee could be demanded just a year after he signed on a free transfer.
