Gakpo and His Representatives Wait for Offer From Red Devils

The Dutch forward has made up his mind about accepting the proposal that the Manchester side have planned for him as the possibility of playing under Erik ten Hag attracts him. But now, they are going to have to play the waiting game as United look into some other transfers.

Gakpo and his representatives are now waiting for the Red Devils to put in an official offer and convince PSV to sell him. The Dutch international is valued at around £35 million, which United must agree to pay in order to move forward with the deal and get it done before the end of the summer transfer window. For now, however, it seems they are more interested in getting over the line in their pursuit of Ajax winger Antony.

Romano also adds that the current priority for Ten Hag’s side is to reunite with his ex-Ajax player Antony, who has recently started to skip his side’s training sessions in order to push through a move. It could cost United upwards of £80 million to sign the Brazilian forward, which the club is reportedly ready to pay.

But that doesn’t mean that the Manchester side will give up on their pursuit of Gakpo. They are reportedly willing to sign both him and the Ajax star to bolster their attacking line and help add a bigger goal-scoring as well as a creative threat to it.
