According to Bild, Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for prolific Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic. The Bundesliga hitman’s contract at the Mercedes-Benz Arena is due to expire in the summer of 2023, so it’s thought the Austrian hitman valued at €25 million could be available for a fraction of that price. Bild report representatives of the player have recently visited England, and engaged in talks with one unnamed club.

The Austrian striker is a fearsome opponent, standing at 6ft 5in, with an eye for goal. Since Stuttgart returned to the top flight in Germany, he has scored an impressive 22 league goals in 48 appearances including 6 in 15 following his return from injury in January 2022. His goals were vital in Stuttgart’s Bundesliga survival.
With their place in the 2022-23 Champions League confirmed, Tottenham are understandably looking to take some of the goalscoring burden away from Harry Kane.
Kalajdzic has also been linked with a number of European giants.
Source‼️ Sasa Kalajdzic to #Bayern certainly still a possibility. But the Rekordmeister is not his only option. Premier League clubs are also interested. Kalajdzic’s agent already had constructive talks with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. @Transfermarkt pic.twitter.com/tJbrvMo8Nv

What the Stuttgart Striker Would Bring to Tottenham Hotspur
With his considerable height, there’s no surprise that Kalajdzic wins a lot of aerial duels. If a cross comes in the box, the Stuttgart talisman is lethal. He would give Tottenham Hotspur a vital weapon when they need to chase the game or play more direct. He is very adept at being the focal point of the attack.
His movement for a big man is exceptional, with him often ghosting between the two centre-backs getting that vital space to score or assist a teammate. Throughout his time in the Bundesliga, his finishing prowess has stood out. He would give Tottenham a deadly alternative option in the centre-forward position.
