Mark Robins has signed a new contract as Coventry City manager.
He has been in charge since March 2017, guiding them to two promotions and an EFL Trophy success.

Successful Second Spell
This is Robins’ second spell as manager of Coventry City and obviously his most successful. He originally took charge in September 2012 before leaving the club in 2013 for Huddersfield Town.
Just shy of four years later he would return to the Coventry Building Society Arena and help take them from League Two to the Championship.
Coventry have had a positive campaign, sitting in 11th place going into the final day, likely progressing on their 16th-place finish last season, picking up eight points more than they did last campaign with one game to go. They are currently just nine points short of the play-off places and no doubt be hoping to bridge that gap next season.

Mark Robins told ccfc.co.uk: “I am delighted to have signed a new contract with Coventry City.
“Together we have made huge progress over the last five years and we can be very proud of what we have achieved so far.
“We are now a very competitive Championship side and we want to continue our development.
“There is a very special bond between the fans and the club, as was shown on Saturday and the fantastic season ticket sales too, and I am very passionate about this football club and what we can achieve together.
“I would like to thank the owners and the football club for their commitment to me also, as our work here continues.”
Robins is nearing his 300th game in charge of the club over the two spells.
Progress Clear
Adding to Robins’ comments, chief executive Dave Boddy said: “We are delighted to announce that Mark has agreed a new contract with Coventry City.
“The progress which has been made at the club is clear to see and we look forward to this continuing under his excellent leadership.
“That Mark has committed to a new contract shows his clear affection for the club and its supporters, and the on-going commitment he has to continuing his great work here.

Coventry were promoted to the Championship in 2020 and will look to continue their rise in the coming years.
