Everton transfer news has been rolling in thick and fast over the past 24 hours.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Toffees are interested in Porto Winger Luis Diaz, and that this interest is “genuine”.
Meanwhile, a pair of Everton attackers have been identified as replacements for two of the world’s best. Juventus will look to sign Moise Kean, according to Fabrizio Romano, with star player Cristiano Ronaldo joining Manchester United, subject only to a medical, personal terms, and a visa. Equally, Paris Saint-Germain will look to use Richarlison to fill the gap that Kylian Mbappe could leave by moving to Real Madrid, as reported by Sky Sports.
Everton Transfer News – Luis Diaz Could Join While Richarlison and Moise Kean May Depart
Luis Diaz Could Prove a Fantastic Addition
Luis Diaz is the first choice left-winger for last season’s Champions League quarter-finalists who were narrowly knocked out of the competition by eventual winners Chelsea: Porto.
The Colombian was in good company as joint top scorer in this year’s Copa America, with Lionel Messi the only other player to score four goals at the competition. Not only is Diaz an accomplished player, but he is also just 24 years of age, so has the potential to improve even further.
He is a game-changer who is known for his flair, pace, and dribbling ability, and will continue Everton’s growth in Colombian support after James Rodriguez joined last year.
Moise Kean and Richarlison May Both Replace World-Class Individuals
21-year-old Moise Kean joined Everton for a large fee of £25 million in the summer of 2019 after breaking out into Juventus’ senior side the season before.
The striker struggled to make an impact after his heavily analysed move to Merseyside, though, and so joined PSG on a season-long loan in October 2020.
Kean was impressive while playing in the French capital, and returned to the Toffees with newfound confidence.
He now may re-join his boyhood club, though, being one of the names on Juventus’ list of Ronaldo replacements.
Likewise, should Kylian Mbappe complete his dream move to Real Madrid, PSG will reportedly try to sign Everton forward Richarlison.
The Brazilian would join up with fellow countryman Neymar, with the pair forming a South American attacking trio with Argentine legend Lionel Messi.
