The Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland is to be finished tonight (June 12) despite a medical emergency involving Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen.

In a statement by UEFA, the competition organisers confirmed that the fixture would go ahead as planned.
They said: “Following the request made by players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland tonight at 20:30 CET.
“The last four minutes of the first half will be played, there will then be a 5-minute half-time break followed by the second half.”
Referee Anthony Taylor was quick to stop the game after it became clear Eriksen was in distress.
He was taken off on a stretcher and was given urgent medical treatment for at least ten minutes.
Eriksen collapsed untouched towards the end of the first half and was immediately seen to by medical personnel.
Fellow Denmark players quickly formed a shield around Eriksen to maintain his privacy.
Denmark Statement
A statement from the Danish FA confirmed that Eriksen had been transferred to hospital and that he was stable.
The statement read: “Christian Eriksen is awake and his condition remains stable. He remains hospitalised at Rigshospitalet for further examinations.
“The match against Finland will be played tonight. This happens after the players have been confirmed that Christian is okay. The match resumes at 20.30.”
