Jonson Clarke-Harris says there is “nothing to celebrate at the minute” despite winning League One Player of the Season as he remains focussed on winning promotion with Peterborough United.

Striker Remains Focussed On Securing Automatic Promotion This Weekend
Posh could confirm their return to the Championship as early as Saturday if they avoid defeat against fellow promotion rivals Lincoln City.
The League One outfit have flirted with promotion for the last two seasons under manager Darren Ferguson – finishing sixth last season and seventh the year before.
As little as a point against Michael Appleton‘s Lincoln City, however, could confirm a return to the Championship for the first time since 2013.
Part of Peterborough’s success this season is down to Jonson Clarke-Harris’ prolific form up-front. The striker has enjoyed an excellent season in front of goal over the past few months, netting 29 goals in 44 appearances.
The Posh have become well known for the ever-growing list of players who have shone at London Road and left to continue achieving.
Having started his career with Coventry City and Peterborough United between 2010 and 2013, the 26-year-old striker returned to London Road in August 2020.
Recent departures from Peterborough who have gone on to succeed have included Britt Assombalonga and Jack Marriott among others, but Clarke-Harris said the main motivation behind returning to United was to achieve promotion.
He said: “It [the success of past players] did and didn’t play on my mind. The main reason to come back to Peterborough was to get promotion. We are not there yet, but we are nearly there.
“One of the main reasons I came here was to get promoted and because of the number of chances the players make in this team.
“It is easy for anyone to score when you are getting the types of chances that I am getting.”
