After another busy weekend at Wembley Stadium, the two teams for the 2021 FA Cup final have been confirmed: Chelsea and Leicester City. All being well, there could even be 21,000 fans in attendance.

When Is This Year’s Final?
Chelsea and Leicester will go head to head at Wembley Stadium in the 2021 FA Cup Final on May 15.
The fixture could be yet another step towards normality with the final down as a pilot event within the Government’s Events Research Programme (ERP) and, hopefully, 21,000 could spectators could be in attendance.
Chelsea put an end to Manchester City‘s hopes of a historic quadruple. The London side edged a tight semi-final on Saturday afternoon.
Hakim Ziyech converted Timo Werner’s pass in the 55th minute to ensure the Blues made the final for a second successive season.
Leicester City, meanwhile, beat Southampton in front of a small crowd of 4,000 fans at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening.
The Foxes have made the FA Cup final on four occasions but they have only ever been beaten finalists. Their most appearance in the final was in 1968-69 when they were beaten 1-0 by Manchester City.
If Brendan Rodgers’ side can come out on top in May, they would be the first new name on the trophy since Wigan Athletic’s triumph over Man City in 2013.
How Can I Watch the FA Cup Final?
The final will kick-off at 5.30 pm on Saturday, May 15. It will be available to watch on BBC One and BBC iPlayer or BT Sport 1 and the BT Sport app.
There will also be coverage on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Whilst the full tv schedule has not yet been finalised, FA Cup final day usually involves a range of special programming including Football Focus as well as shows looking back at the current year’s competition.
