Wolves in an Injury Crisis
Wolves are currently struggling with injuries and boss Nuno Espirito Santo believes that the 20-year old could come back to the Premier League side and help them immediately.
It is a blow for Swansea, who have only just been able to utilise the midfielder again. He’s been sidelined with an injury but came back into the Championship side’s squad against Watford.
Morgan Gibbs-White Solid for Swansea City
He’s looked a solid player during his time at Swansea, starting just the four games but managing two-goal contributions during that time.
Rather than being given the chance to shine in the second tier now though, it looks like he will once again be given a shot in the Premier League.
Gibbs-White has been a Wolves player since he was a youngster and even made his debut for the club as a 16-year-old.
In fact, the 20-year-old has already played over 50 times for the club but has only started seven of those games. In a bid to get him more regular first-team action, he was sent out on a short-term basis to the Swans.
Spent Time on the Sidelines
After a solid start for the Welsh side, he was ruled out with an injury for three months. A fractured foot meant that he was unable to be utilised fully by the club and it looks like he will not get another chance for the Championship side.
Kasey Palmer has also returned to his parent club in Bristol City, meaning that this is the second player to have left Swansea. It means that they will have to certainly look to recruit some more options during the current transfer window to replace them as they look to challenge at the top end of the table.
