Juan Foyth will not play in the Europa League as he is still not part of the Tottenham Hotspur squad. This is despite Son Heung-min’s injury. Instead, as Alasdair Gold notes, Paulo Gazzaniga has been added to the squad list. Gold has suggested that despite the fact that Foyth trained with the squad yesterday, he “looks to be heading out of the club in the coming days”.

Foyth Could Be Leaving Spurs
Juan Foyth has not been a part of Jose Mourinho’s plans; he is yet to appear for Spurs this season. AS have revealed that Villareal are close to agreeing a loan move for the defender. And so it appears that the Argentinian’s time at the club is probably up.
The defender joined the club in August 2017, but has made only 16 Premier League appearances. Under Pochettino he was given more time and a chance to prove himself. However, even when key personnel were injured or suspended, he has failed to secure a first-team place.
Japhet Tanganga‘s introduction is likely one of the final nails in the coffin, who has just returned from injury. Foyth is a similiar age, and is unlikely to secure a place as an experienced centre-back within the squad. Add to this the arrival of Matt Doherty, and Foyth seems even further away from a starting spot.
New Defender
Spurs are yet to replace Jan Vertonghen, and if they sell Foyth they will have less depth at centre-back. They appear to be actively searching for another centre-back, though.
The latest from Fabrizio Romano is that the Milan Skriniar deal is stalling. Furthermore, Inter Milan Sporting Director Piero Ausilio has denied that the player is for sale.
“We’ve brought in those we want and in fact have a few in excess. I said the other day there has been contact for Skriniar, we did not receive any particularly impressive offers and he is not for sale” Ausilio said.
Antonio Rudiger is a surprising rumour, the player previously claimed that he had been racially abused at a match between Chelsea and Tottenham.
