Following an impressive season with Bodø Glimt in his home country of Norway, Jens Petter Hauge has reportedly earned himself a move to AC Milan. According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached regarding personal terms alongside a deal with Bodø Glimt.
The deal will see the 20-year-old winger complete what must be a dream move after taking Norway by storm with Bodø Glimt. He now has the chance to take Italy by storm and help Milan take a crucial step back into the top tier of European football.
Petter Hauge to Complete Milan Move
Plenty of Potential
The talent of Petter Hauge is impressive, but his potential talent is incredible, and one AC Milan must unlock. The Norwegian netted 14 goals in just 17 appearances in the Eliteserien last season alongside the also impressive tally of nine assists to take his total goal contributions to 23 in 17 games.
He is just one of a plethora of Norwegian talents ready to take their country into a fresh, more exciting footballing era. At 20 years old, too, Hauge will only improve, especially when playing alongside Erling Haland for the national team.
If Milan can get anything close to what Dortmund have got out of Haland, Hauge’s fellow countryman, they’ll have themselves some player. It is a big if, yes, but Hauge’s stats and potential place him in the best possible position to succeed in Italy.
The Italian giants know first hand the damage he can cause, too, after falling victim to his goalscoring touch in a recent 3-2 win over Bodø Glimt. If that was Hauge’s initiation, he passed with flying colours.
The reported deal could turn out to be the most important of the summer from a Milan point of view, who have themselves a potential player for the ages.
