Queens Park Rangers have signed Luke Amos on a permanent deal from Tottenham Hotspur, the club has confirmed.
The former England U18 international spent last season out on loan at Loftus Road. He picked up an injury while at the club, which meant he only played 34 games for the Championship side – scoring two goals.
But the 23-year-old has now become a permanent member of the QPR squad. The West London club paid an undisclosed fee for Amos and gave him a three-year deal.
Amos becomes QPR’s second signing of the Summer, following the arrival of George Thomas from Leicester City.

Looking Forward to Pushing on at Queens Park Rangers
In an interview on the Queens Park Rangers’ website, Amos said he was delighted to return to Loftus Road.
“Last year, I came here on loan, played games, and really enjoyed the opportunity that the gaffer (Mark Warburton) gave me.
“For him to bring me back and to be here for another three years – I’m really looking forward to pushing on and doing well.
“It’s an amazing group here. I’ve made some really good friends – as soon as I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome. Having a good group and the opportunity to play is all you can really ask for.”
Warburton Believes Amos Can Be Key
QPR boss Mark Warburton was pleased with the way Amos came back from his knee injury, and also hopes he will be an influential figure for his side.
“Luke got over a nasty knee injury to play 35 games for us last season. We saw him getting stronger and more confident as the campaign progressed.
“I believe he can thrive and really kick on from here.
“He plays and trains with a real intensity, he has a hunger to win and a desire to learn.
“He has a real passion for the game.
“With those fantastic traits, Luke has enormous potential.”
Still a Huge Summer Ahead Despite Positive Addition
The permanent signing of Luke Amos has delighted the Queens Park Rangers fans. Like their manager Mark Warburton, they will be hoping he will kick on after a promising loan spell.
And there’s most likely going to be more business done in this transfer window. The club need another striker after the loan spells of Jordan Hugill and Nakhi Wells came to an end. (Wells was recalled by Burnley in January).
But the club are believed to have found a striker in Lyndon Dykes. He is said to be in talks to join the Rs after the Australian was left out of Livingston’s 0-0 draw with Rangers at the weekend. The 24-year-old has scored 14 goals in 36 appearances for the Scottish Premiership side.
But there’s also rumours of their star players leaving the club, in particular Eberechi Eze. The Midfielder has been targeted by a few Premier League sides, including Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Rangers will be hoping to keep hold of Eze, as they aim to build on last season’s 13th place finish in the Championship.
