West Ham United have confirmed that Tomas Soucek will be staying at the club beyond his six-month loan signing.
Following his impressive impact since arriving from Slavia Prague, the 24-year old has signed a permanent deal that ties him to the London Stadium until 2024.

The Czech international’s future depended upon West Ham securing their Premier League status. David Moyes’s side officially achieved that feat with a 1-1 draw away at Manchester United on Wednesday.
Fittingly, Soucek’s form has been central to the club’s upturn in fortunes since football resumed post-lockdown. His three goals since the restart have helped propel the Hammers to safety.
Doing so triggers a clause which sees West Ham pay Slavia Prague £19.14 million to retain the midfielder’s services on a four-year deal.
David Moyes Delighted With Long-Term Signing
Hammers boss David Moyes is understandably happy to keep hold of a player who has been crucial to his side’s top flight survival.
The Scot told reporters: “I always believed he would be staying, it was subject to us staying in the Premier League and I believed we would remain a Premier League club. I never had any great worries about him.
“He can score, he can run, he’s a good footballer, so I think it was more to see how he would fit in.
“I was always confident that he would remain with us so I am pleased to get that out of the way, we are glad he will be a West Ham player for a good period to come.”
Since his January arrival, Soucek has been an excellent addition to a West Ham midfield that already contains club captain Mark Noble and talented youngster Declan Rice.
Moyes is planning to build his team around that trio ahead of next season. The manager is pleased with the midfield balance they bring, as well as the blend of youth and experience they provide.
