League Two side Morecambe have confirmed that six of the seven players that were offered new deals have signed. Only Steven Old declined the offer to return for next season.

Who’s Staying On?
Five of those who have accepted new deals with the club were members of the first-team last season. Freddie Price, though, has accepted his first professional deal with the club on a one-year deal and will join the first team for the 2020/21 campaign.
As well as Price, young Spanish striker Carlos Mendes-Gomes has signed a one-year deal to keep him in Lancashire. The 21-year-old qualifies for Spain, despite being born in Senegal, through his time in the youth academy at Atletico Madrid. His first experience of English football came in the ninth tier at West Didsbury & Chorlton before he was snapped up by Morecambe in 2018.
Fellow striker Cole Stockton will also be staying on with the club. The 26-year-old has spent the majority of his career with teams in the North West of England, including two loans ate Morecambe while he was playing in his first spell at Tranmere Rovers.
Midfielder Aaron Wildig has, too, signed a one-year contract. He started his career at Cardiff City having come through their academy. He then had loan spells at Hamilton Academical and Shrewsbury Town before joining the latter permanently. Loans at Kidderminster Harriers and Morecambe followed before signing for the Shrimps permanently in 2015.
Another midfielder in Alex Kenyon will be adding to the seven years he has already spent at the Globe Arena. Kenyon started in the youth set-up at Everton before having spells in non-league with Chorley, Lancaster City and Stockport County. He signed for Morecambe in 2013 and has made over 200 league appearances for them.
Finally, journeyman striker Jordan Slew will be staying on for another year. He has spent the last two-and-a-half years in non-league with Radcliffe, Boston United and Ashton United, but was handed another chance in the Football League by Morecambe in January.
