Birmingham City welcome struggling Hull City to St Andrews. The Blues are looking to build on their excellent result against West Bromwich Albion. Meanwhile, visitors Hull are in dire need of a positive result after their costly defeat to Charlton Athletic.
The Tigers are enduring a miserable run of form and that defeat saw them drop into the Championship relegation zone. Grant McCann’s team must halt their slide and fast.

Birmingham Are Looking To Build On A Good Result At West Brom
The Blues head into this game on the back of a good result at Midland rivals West Brom. Pep Clotet will want to see his side build on their result and maintain their performance levels.
Birmingham have been in good form losing just one of their twelve Championship matches. The Blues showed plenty of endeavour at West Brom but lacked a clinical edge. Scott Hogan and Lukas Jutkiewicz will be the men Clotet looks to. Birmingham will fancy their chances this weekend against a Hull side low on confidence and form.
All eyes will be on teenager Jude Bellingham who continues to impress. He will once again be the creative force driving Birmingham forward. A win for Birmingham could see them move to within three points of the top half.
Hull City Desperately Need a Win
2020 has been rotten in more ways than one for Hull City. The Tigers are sinking down the table after looking a dark horse for a play-off spot. The loss of players and a major dip in form has seen Hull drop into the bottom three.
Hull are winless in twelve matches and have lost ten of those. The pressure is increasing on Grant McCann. He desperately needs three points but it is hard to see where the goals are coming from.
Josh Magennis is Hull’s current top scorer with just four. He is the most likely man to deliver the goods but with the creativity in midfield now gone, the Tigers quickly need to find a playmaker. Liverpool loanee Herbie Kane could be that man, having played a key role in Grant McCann’s Doncaster Rovers team last season.
A win for Hull could really give them a huge morale boost. Victory will see them climb out of the relegation zone because of the fixtures elsewhere.
McCann is boosted by the news Leonardo Da Silva Lopes and Reece Burke are fully fit for the game.
There is huge incentive for Hull City and Grant McCann needs a fighting performance from his team.
Previous Meeting
When the two sides met in December, Hull thrashed the Blues 3-0. Goals from Tom Eaves, Kamil Grosicki and Keane Lewis-Potter ensured an excellent win. It was in a run where Hull secured three consecutive home wins.
Prediction
This is must-win for Hull City. Their form is rotten but one result could ignite their season once again. A win at St Andrews will see them complete the league double and climb out the bottom three.
Birmingham will fancy their chances of securing three points with their form showing just one loss in twelve. Hull’s need is greater but Clotet will want his team to finish the season strongly.
