The Premier League side have said they will not utilise the Government’s new scheme.
Companies can apply for 80% of wages to be covered by the government due to lost income.
Until June 30, clubs can put workers on furlough in order to avoid any financial difficulties.
But the London club have said they will not use this initiative, instead paying full wages as though the club “had been operating as usual.”
In a statement that addressed concerns around ticketing, employees, the community and the men’s team, the Blues said: “We are continuing our current level of financial and other support to our professional women players and also to our women’s academy programmes.
“Our women’s team and staff have been very supportive of our charitable activities during this crisis which has been appreciated by both the club and the respective charities.”
With no football for the foreseeable future, Chelsea have been providing support to their local community.
Last week they announced they would provide free meals to the NHS and charities that support the elderly and vulnerable groups.
They are now providing up to 81,000 meals to people who can not obtain food on a regular basis.
The club’s medical team have also volunteered to assist the NHS in critical roles.
In addition, the Chelsea Foundation are working to support others whose lives have been disrupted.
The Foundation’s education team are producing daily workbooks and virtual classroom sessions for children.
Staff have also helped local foodbanks with deliveries; more than 10,000 participants took part in a virtual soccer school during the Easter holiday.
