Filip Krovinović has hinted at making a permanent move to West Bromwich Albion by revealing he is keen to test himself in the top flight. When discussing his future with the Express and Star, the Croatian admitted it would be a dream to play in the Premier League soon.

Krovinovic to Make Move Permanent?
Krovinović is currently loan from Benfica and has made 34 appearances in all competitions for Albion this season, scoring two goals and setting up four. The initial deal that saw him arrive at The Hawthorns didn’t include an option to buy the player. Though now, it is now understood that Benfica are willing to listen to offers.
West Brom will wait to see what happens over the next few months before finalising plans for any future signings but Krovinović will certainly be considered. Reports in Portugal claim that the Primeira Liga side are looking in the region of £10 million for the player. But it is believed that this fee is open to negotiation.
With them locked into a £9 million deal for Matheus Pereira this summer, Albion will need to bring the price tag down to make it happen. But if the permanent acquisitions of both Pereira and Krovinović become reality it will see them in good stead for a successful Premier League return.
Midfield Maestro
Krovinović was used mostly as a substitute in the first half of the season, where he struggled to make an impact in the 4-2-3-1 setup favoured by West Brom. However, his performances improved greatly as the season progressed. The 24-year-old particularly impressed after switching to a deeper, central midfield role.
Slaven Bilic is understood to be a huge admirer of his fellow countryman. He would very much like the opportunity to make Krovinović’s Premier League dream come true. But with Albion’s bid for promotion currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is a lot still to be done beforehand.
The Baggies are currently second in the Championship table, trailing Leeds United by a point in the battle for the title, with a six-point advantage over third-placed Fulham. Promotion is likely if the season is concluded and Krovinović has settled well in the Midlands making the move entirely possible.
Krovinović has become an integral part of Albion’s midfield, quickly becoming a fan favourite with many believing that he can be even better in the Premier League. West Brom obviously won’t break the bank to make the deal permanent but they are certainly keen.
