The Arsenal Transfercast returns in episode two, entitled ‘The Most Shkodran Mustafi Moments’. This is the show where we only take Arsenal transfer rumours seriously and never ourselves.
The rumours this week again circle around Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. However, the likes of Mustafi, Dayot Upamecano and Carlos Soler get a mention or two.
The Arsenal Transfercast Episode Two
The Most Shkodran Mustafi Moments at Arsenal
Martin Hawkins hosts the show, he serves as Arsenal Content Manager here at LWOF. Zach Rayment is a veteran podcaster who also does the Footy A Deaux pod and he is joined by Chance Haire, one of the youngest and most exciting writers at the site.
In part one of the show, our terrific trio tackles a convenient rumour involving Real Madrid. However, they decide that it is more a colour by numbers rumour rather than an organic one.
Napoli are also potentially losing a star striker this summer. Arkadiusz Milik is refusing a new contract and could leave the Neapolitans in the next window. If Auba leaves, would Arsenal move for the Pole?
Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on Carlos Soler. Valencia may have to sell their prized asset as rumours hold that they need to raise nearly £40 million by the end of June.
The pod moves on with part two which features the opportunity for Zach and Chance to win a big prize. The topics revolve around Arsenal’s defective defence with Shkodran Mustafi being at the centre of the affair.
Dayot Upamecano is also being linked with a move. The RB Leipzig doesn’t wish to sign a new contract at the club, however, he would be expensive. That doesn’t stop out panel from agreeing he would be the perfect partner for William Saliba.
Jose Mourinho gets a brief mention as well, although for reasons which the one-time special one would not enjoy.
