League Two side Bradford City have announced that the entire playing squad and staff have gone into self-isolation after one member developed symptoms of coronavirus.

The “precautionary measure” comes after the FA ruled that every Premier League and EFL fixture be suspended until April.
All academy training and matches were also put on hold until further notice.
The Bantams said in a statement that an unnamed member of the coaching staff had been sent home after developing symptoms of Covid-19.
Bradford City’s statement said: “Players will each be provided with a GPS unit, enabling them to monitor their fitness levels in relation to a tailored training programme.
“This measure is designed to ensure Stuart McCall’s squad remains in peak physical condition upon its return to training.
“The Utilita Energy Stadium remains open and all departments will function as normal, in line with government guidelines.
“The National Health Service continues to advise members of the public to stay at home if you have either a high temperature or developed a new, continuous cough.”
Cases of Coronavirus in Football
There have already been a number of cases of coronavirus confirmed across the footballing world.
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi became the first top-flight player to test positive for the illness; Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta also went into self-isolating after developing symptoms.
Everton’s squad joined those of Chelsea and Arsenal in entering self-isolation after one of their players showed symptoms.
Advice from Public Health England (PHE) has changed after the UK government switched to the ‘delay’ stage of their response.
PHE advise is as follows. Anyone who develops a high temperature or a new, continuous cough must stay at home for seven days.
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you’re staying at home.
