Transfer Rumours: Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus

Manchester United Prepared to Meet Sancho Requirements

According to Alex Smith of The Mirror, Manchester United are ready to meet Borussia Dortmund’s demands for Jadon Sancho. The German side will put a £100 million price-tag on their golden boy, who joined in 2017. Since then, Sancho has made 68 appearances, scoring 18 goals and creating 30 assists, making the step up to the England national side. At just 19, he has the world at his feet; with many suitors likely to queue up, United could face stiff competition for his signature.

Real Madrid Hope to Take Advantage of Mbappé Situation

Andrés Onrubia of AS writes that Real Madrid have a keen eye on the situation of Kylian Mbappé at Paris Saint-Germain. The relationship between Mbappé and manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly very strained, with the German still considering Neymar his talisman. Should Mbappé want to fulfill his dream of winning a European Golden Ball, many think he may have to leave France. As such, Real Madrid could yet pounce on the attacker and make him a marquee signing in summer 2020.

Ivan Rakitic Could Be on Move in January

As Carmen Torres writes for Marca, Ivan Rakitic could be on his way out of the Nou Camp in the new year. With appearances for Barcelona few and far between in their opening 12 fixtures, the Croatian is considering his options. After playing just 206 minutes, it seems he is now behind Frenkie de Jong, Arthur and Sergio Busquets in the pecking order. Since Rakitic’s contract expires in 2021, he could soon leave for a cut-price deal; Juventus and Manchester United are reportedly keen, and he is keeping his options open.

Newcastle Monitoring James

If reports from the Sun’s Alan Nixon are true, Newcastle United are planning a loan move to bring Reece James to St. James Park. James, 19, has featured for Chelsea this season, but the form of Cesar Azpilicueta will be a stern obstacle for him. Right-back is a real problem position for the Magpies this season; none of Deandre Yedlin, Javier Manquillo or Emil Krafth have impressed there yet. James starred on loan at Wigan Athletic last season, and could yet move to the Championship, with suitors there as well.
