Preview: Fantasy Premier League Gameweek Six

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek Six is here with a Friday night deadline. The return of European football makes this week a really tricky one.

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek Six Picks

Goalkeepers

A host of mid-table to lower-end teams play each other this week. This makes things extremely tough to pick a keeper that should keep a clean sheet for sure.

Nick Pope (£4.6) could go big if he can keep a clean sheet this week. However, it will be tough against the likes of Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki. The same could be said about Vicente Guaita at home to tired a Wolverhampton Wanderers side.

Angus Gunn and Mathew Ryan both could get clean sheets this week. Martin Dubravka could be also considered but Brighton & Hove Albion have the ability to hurt Newcastle United on the counter.

Defenders

Lucas Digne (£6.2) failed miserably last week but has the potential to do well at home this week against Sheffield United.

Erik Pieters (£4.7) is an intriguing option this week. Norwich tend to give away goals down the left flank which was exploited by West Ham United’s Arthur Masuaku last time they were playing away from home. Can Pieters profit from this?

Midfielders

Kevin De Bruyne (£9.8) should start this week after being benched last week. He has a brilliant home fixture against Watford at home. Manchester City will be looking to put a few goals past the Hornets to recover from last week’s disappointment.

Raheem Sterling (£12.3) should be absolutely essential as well. However, he played the full 90 minutes against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday night. Will Pep Guardiola rest him?

Mohamed Salah (£12.5) and Sadio Mané (£11.6) could both do well this week. Chelsea’s attacking style could play right into the hands of Jürgen Klopp’s men.

Richarlison (£8.0) scored a brace last time he played at home. He should be considered strongly this week.

Arsenal’s record signing Nicolas Pépé (£9.4) has been really erratic so far. Pressure has been mounting on him to do well and this could be the week the Ivorian finally gets off the mark.

Strikers

Sergio Agüero (£12.1) did not play a single minute for Manchester City in midweek so should start this one. He is a must-have this week.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.0) has a great home fixture against Aston Villa. He could do really well this week.

Despite Norwich monumental victory against Manchester City last week, Ashley Barnes (£6.7) owners should expect a goal or two from him. The Canaries lost quite convincingly in both of their away trips this season and Turf Moor is one of the toughest grounds to go to.

Harry Kane (£11.0) has not looked at his best so far this season. However, he has a brilliant record against Leicester City with 11 goals from eight matches in the Premier League.
