FTN: Latest on Paul Pogba, Aurier and De Gea

Serge Aurier Wants to Leave Spurs

According to the Daily Mail, Serge Aurier is keen to push through a move away from Tottenham.

With PSG and AC Milan expressing interest in the 26-year-old, Aurier is interested in making a move before the European transfer window shuts.

The defender has enjoyed mixed success in his two years since a £23 million move from PSG – Aurier has started only 22 Premier League matches and was an unused substitute in May’s Champions League final defeat to Liverpool.

Aurier is reportedly keen on departing North London; however, a fresh start for the defender would leave Mauricio Pochettino short on options at right-back having sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid.

Juventus Refuse To Back Down Over Paul Pogba Interest

Daily Express journalist Neil Fissler has claimed that Juventus are hurriedly trying to raise funds to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

The report says that the Italian side are trying to sell Mario Mandzukic. Juve also hope that Paulo Dybala could move to Paris Saint-Germain if Real Madrid make a move for Neymar.

According to the report in the Express, United won’t stand in the way of Pogba even though the Premier League transfer window is closed and they won’t be able to sign a replacement until January.

Manchester United’s David De Gea Contract Saga Continues

Manchester United remain at risk of losing goalkeeper David de Gea, according to The Daily Mirror‘s Simon Mullock.

According to reports by the tabloid newspaper, De Gea’s United future remains in doubt; the Spaniard is yet to sign a new contract. Reports last month suggested a bumper £350,000-a-week contract had been agreed but De Gea’s immediate future remains in turmoil.

The 28-year-old will be free to talk to any interested clubs overseas in January. The report claims, though, that high-level United sources are confident of an agreement being reached.
