Antoine Griezmann to Move to the French Capital

Antoine Griezmann is set to sign for Paris Saint-Germain after agreeing on a deal. The French forward revealed he would be leaving Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.

According to Sport, Barcelona are willing to pay Griezemann’s €120 million release clause.

However, the Spanish side are reportedly waiting until the 1st July before committing to the winger.

As a result, Griezemann’s immediate future is still unconfirmed.

Following on from Grizemann’s unwillingness to commit to a move to Barcelona, the La Liga side have begun exploring different options.

Sport (via the Daily Mail) have reported that Barcelona are in advanced talks with Rodrigo Moreno. The Valencia forward would cost the Spanish giants £106 million due to the 28-year-old holding a contract at the Mestalla until 2022.

Meanwhile, Sport (via The Sun) also claim that Marcus Rashford could head to the Nou Camp. The 21-year-old ace would cost around £88 million.

Since dramatically arriving on the scene at Old Trafford, Rashford has declined a contract extension. Sport claim that Rashford would be an “ideal complement for Messi and Suarez.” They also suggest Barca president Josep Bartomeu and United’s Ed Woodward have a good relationship.

It has been reported that Griezemann would prefer a move to PSG. The French forward has felt unwelcome due to rejection from the players and supporters.

Reports from abroad suggest that Griezmann is set to sign for PSG as a replacement for Edinson Cavani. Sport claim that Griezmann has already met with owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi and that a deal has been finalised.
