Kovacic Transfer Request

Real Madrid and Croatia midfielder Matteo Kovacic has confirmed that he wishes to leave the Spanish capital. The player is frustrated with the lack of first-team opportunities that he is receiving at the Bernabeu. Hence, he wishes to join a club where he’ll receive more game time. Kovacic is rumoured to have a buyout clause in the region of £44 million. In today’s market, this would be a huge bargain. English sides Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all have a reported interest in the 24 Croation international.

Mourinho Not Giving up on Alderweireld

Toby Alderweireld is still on Manchester United’s wishlist. The Belgian is valued at over £60 million by his club, Tottenham. This price tag has deterred United so far. Tottenham are also interested in United’s wantaway French star Anthony Martial. United do not want to do business with another English side in regards to Martial, this stance has annoyed Tottenham, therefore, increasing their stubbornness in relation to Alderweireld’sprice tag.

Liverpool Bid for Spanish Wonder-kid

A number of Spanish media outlets are reporting that Liverpool have made a shock £160 million bid for Real Madrid wonder-kid Marco Asensio. Asensio is currently on international duty with the Spanish national team in Russia. Asensio has been a big-time player since breaking into the Madrid squad. The 22-year-old may be attracted to England by the prospect of regular first-team football and would be a major signal of intent by the Merseyside club.

Manchester City Interested in Boateng

Pep Guardiola is considering making a move for Jerome Boateng. The Spaniard knows the defender well from their time together at Bayern Munich. The World Cup winner wants to leave Germany for a new challenge. Boateng is interested in a return to England. Especially the prospect of playing under Guardiola again.
