Manchester United Team News

Speaking on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s Sunderland vs Manchester United clash, boss Michael Carrick discussed the fact that he’s had a settled squad throughout his tenure and hasn’t been forced to make too many changes. He said, “I think every player in the squad has been fantastic.”
He also commented on the injury suffered by Benjamin Sesko in United’s 3-2 win over Liverpool last weekend, stating, “he got a bang on the shin. It’s something he’s been carrying for a little bit”. His fitness will likely be assessed ahead of Saturday afternoon’s match.
Matthijs de Ligt remains out with a back injury and won’t feature in this weekend’s Sunderland vs Manchester United fixture.
