Arsenal Monitor International Defender Amid Rival Premier League Interest

Arsenal have impressed throughout the 2025/26 season and are still in the hunt for a historic quadruple. Mikel Arteta’s team have suffered their fair share of injury troubles, but despite setbacks along the way, Arsenal have always bounced back. According to Graeme Bailey at Teamtalk, Arsenal are monitoring German international defender Nathaniel Brown, with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City also tracking the 22-year-old rising star.

The Gunners Look at Future Reinforcements

Despite Arsenal being in the hunt for major trophies, they have one eye on the future and have recently been linked with making the Piero Hincapie signing permanent.

It now appears they are tracking another defender, with Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown catching the attention of the Gunners hierarchy. Teamtalk have previously reported that Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal are among the sides keeping close tabs on the German international.

Brown has enjoyed an impressive campaign for the Bundesliga side, making 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring three times, and providing six assists. His ability to play as an inverted full-back, or more of a marauding full-back, has seen him compared to established defenders such as Joao Cancelo.

Nathaniel Brown: The Future

Brown signed a long-term contract extension with Frankfurt that runs until the summer of 2030, but Teamtalk reports there is an openness to letting Brown go, should a fee in the region of £39 million be offered.

It remains to be seen where Brown goes, but it appears the talented defender is set to leave Frankfurt this summer. There appears to be no shortage of clubs interested in the 22-year-old, and should Arsenal win a major trophy this season, surely they will be in a great position to win the chase for the talented defender.
