Manchester United will entertain Fulham at Old Trafford this Sunday at 2pm. After a strong start under Michael Carrick, the Red Devils will look to go three from three under their new interim manager. After a dominant 2-0 victory over Manchester City, followed by a 3-2 victory over league leaders Arsenal, the Red Devils are full of confidence.
Marco Silva’s Fulham sit seventh in the Premier League. After a slow start, they have picked up eight points this year, as well as a win in the FA Cup. Last time out, they had to rely on a stunning free kick from the in-form Harry Wilson to beat Brighton 2-1 at home.
Here is the latest team news and predicted lineup for Manchester United.
Manchester United vs Fulham – Team News and Predicted Line Up
Team News
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Michael Carrick confirmed a number of absentees. We saw Patrick Dorgu limp off after a great game against Arsenal. The Athletic confirmed that he is set to miss roughly 10 weeks of action with a hamstring injury. This means Carrick will be forced to change his starting lineup. Commenting on Dorgu’s injury, Carrick noted:
“Unfortunately, he’s going to be out for a period of time. We’re still working through how long that’s going to be. So, we’ll have to see, you know, disappointing, he’s had such a big couple of weeks, Pat. So, we weren’t sure whether it was a little bit of cramp or whether it was something a little bit more serious and at the moment it looks a little bit more on the serious note.”

Carrick also confirmed that Matthijs de Ligt remains stuck on the sidelines with a back injury. Joshua Zirkezee also remains out.
As for Silva’s Fulham, Sasa Lukic missed the Brighton game due to an injury and is unlikely to feature against United. Rodrigo Muniz has been out since November with a hamstring injury and will miss the trip to Manchester. Kenny Tete is expected to return, having last featured on New Year’s Day.
Big January signing, Oscar Bobb, is still battling a hamstring injury picked up in December. This Sunday’s match is unlikely to see the Norway international make his debut.
